Great Craft Room

Okay people, this is the ultimate craft room. Who wouldn't be inspired here. Go see this great room in it's entirety at Being Brook. I was going to make this for my craft room, but it is way too small, so we made a corner desk with an additional long and skinny table. My next house will DEFINITELY feature one of these desks. I hope dear hubby is up to it.

Some New Hat Patterns to try

Here are some new hat patterns to try. The butterfly hat took a couple of days, where the bulky button hat and the lotus hat only took one day. They were all fun and easy to do and look great. I am sending them to my sister in California who doesn't knit. Here are the links to the patterns

So folks, I am getting a little discouraged. I have had over 350 page views and do not have any followers. :(
I will keep this up a little while longer and if there is no interest, I will put my time into making things instead of sharing........

White Metal Rose Necklace

This is a cool mixture of metal and white shell stones and a large white rose. Feminine but edgy too.

Brown and Aqua Necklace

I made this for my darling daughter and she never wore it, so I took it back.

Seashell Necklace

This soft green necklace was made with multi-colored seed beads attached to a clasp. I added an abalone shell purchased on Hilton Head Island this year.

Navy Flower Necklace

Add Navy flower to metal disc with E6000 glue. Attach another embellishment of your choice(mine was from Michaels) String seed beads, bead caps, pearls to your liking. Attach all , add clasp and beautimous.

Antique Resin Flower Necklace

This is another easy resin flower necklace. More of an antique look with the filigree and brass look.

Resin Flower Rainbow Necklace

I found a necklace like this on Ravelry for $38.00. No way. I made it for way less.
Find some metal discs, or filigree, E6000 glue, resin flowers. Glue flowers on. Connect discs with split rings. Attach chains to both ends, add clasp and its done.

Light Pink Cabled Neck Warmer

This was knit in the same pattern as the matching hat posted earlier on this site. I did a seed stitch on top and bottom.

Teal Mock Cable Hat

This hat was knit without a hat pattern, but the stitch pattern is available below.

Cast on 100 stitches with size 8 16 inch circular needle.
Work in P2K3 Ribbing for approximately 1.5 inches
Then work wrap cable pattern as follows:
Row 1: *P2, sl 1, K2, psso; rep from * to end.
Row 2: *P2, K1, yo, K1; rep from * to end
Row 3: *P2, K3; rep from * to end
Row 4: Repeat Row 3

Repeat rows 1-4 to desired length then decrease evenly. I deleted the purls between the cables and then knit a row and then decreased evenly until I had 8-12 stitches and then ran the yarn through and it was done.

Pretty Pastel Beret Style Hat

Sorry, can't remember where I got the pattern for this hat.

Red Multi-Colored Tuva Hat

I knit this easy to make and oh so comfy hat from a pattern on Ravelry. Here is the link

I also made a cowl to match. No pattern.

Blue Cabled Knit Hat

This multicolored blue hat was knit from this pattern
I also made a matching neck warmer without a pattern, I just kind of winged it.
